Why is the American Degree Transfer Program (ADP) at Taylor’s a good choice?

The unique characteristics of ADP are:
Taylor’s ADP remains popular with more than 70 majors and specializations to choose from in the fields of business, engineering, computer science, mass communications, applied sciences, psychology, actuarial science and others.
ADP adapts an American-style education. Lecturers teaching in ADP have at least a Master's degree and many years of teaching experience in a U.S. degree curriculum.
Taylor's ADP students have successfully transferred to Purdue University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Queensland (Australia), University of Victoria (Canada) and many other universities around the world.
Students are given every opportunity to improve on their English language skills in preparation for their transfer to the U.S. or other countries via written and public speaking (speech) courses.
Taylor's provides strong support in helping students settle into college life with the Mentoring System and Special Induction Programs. Guidance counselors are available for walk-in counseling and once classes begin, lecturers are also available for consultation after class hours.

3.
What is the 2+2 program?

Most American bachelor's degrees require four years of course work for a total of about forty subjects. Students in Business and Liberal arts typically complete 120 credit hours, whereas students in the Sciences and Engineering typically complete 140 credit hours. Taylor's ADP offers a "2+2" or the equivalent of the first two years (approximately 20 subjects or 60-70 credit hours) of the bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science and most other majors. This will enable students to transfer to the respective universities for the remaining 2 years to secure a degree.

4.
What are the components of an American undergraduate degree?

Students at the Bachelor's level are exposed extensively to courses within their field of study and also to a certain extent, courses beyond their field of study. As such the American undergraduate curriculum tends to create graduates that are able to excel in their field of study while simultaneously able to adapt and successfully implement both themselves and their knowledge in the world beyond the classroom. Typically a student would require 4 years of study or 120-140 semester credits to secure an undergraduate degree. The various components of the American undergraduate curriculum are Core Requirements, and General Education Requirements; the latter encompasses compulsory subjects (such as English and Math), and Electives.
