AIESEC TUC Garners Huge Success
Members of AIESEC Taylor’s University College (TUC) found themselves smiling gleefully when they bagged not only the most awards, but the most coveted Top Gun Local Committee Award at the AIESEC Malaysia Awards Night 2009.

The Top Gun award is the highest honour presented to a local committee to recognise best overall performance.

Despite being a ‘young’ committee and competing against other more established local committees from the public universities, AIESEC TUC members won eight of the 21 awards given out, proving that hard work, teamwork and commitment are indeed recipes for excellence.

“We’re all so happy with this achievement!” said Vincent Xu, President of AIESEC TUC 2009/2010 and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting and Finance student. “This success is made possible from the collected effort of all our active and committed members.”

AIESEC TUC members, alumni, interns and TUC staff celebrate the big achievement

The fun and classy Awards Night was held in the Bentley Music Hall, Mutiara Damansara in January.

For their achievement, AIESEC TUC members were recently treated to a special celebratory dinner at the Taylor’s Lakeside Campus Truffles Restaurant by the Taylor’s Student Experience Department.
