The Foundation in Communication (FICM) programme is designed to equip students with the skills they need to study at the tertiary level. By spending a year in the course, students develop a deeper understanding of the media and communications industry.

Classes in FICM promote two-way interaction and sharing of knowledge and resources among students through lectures and tutorials. Students will have access to a well-established support network. They will also be taught to be resourceful and to study independently.


Entry Requirements:

Minimum 5 credits including English and a pass in Bahasa Melayu
Other qualifications
Other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

1 year

Further Studies:
Upon completion of the FICM, students can choose to pursue their communication degree at Taylor's School of Communication through the University of South Australia (UniSA) programmes. Students may also opt to transfer to other universities in Australia or the United Kingdom.
