The Diploma in Culinary Arts (Baccalauréat Professionnel Restauration - Cuisine) is a prestigious French national qualification awarded by Académie de Toulouse.

This two-year full-time programme is designed to equip students with advanced skills in culinary arts, strong product knowledge and the ability to perform and organise the food production according to established international standards.

The programme, also known as BacPro Cuisine, is touted to be the best Culinary Arts qualification in France. It provides students with state-of-the-art technical skills in kitchen setup and organisation, food product knowledge, patisserie, sensorial analysis, menu development, and food and beverage management. Graduates will achieve a high degree of professionalism and are trained to focus on quality of the product.

Entry Requirements:
Entry Level  Entry Requirements 
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent
3 credits
1 credit with SKM 3
1 credit with Certificate in Hotel Operations
Senior Middle III
5 passes including English
Other qualifications
Other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Relevant work experience for mature students

Duration:
2 years

Intakes:
January, April & July

Further Studies:
Upon successful completion of this diploma, students can seek employment or further their studies in: Year 1 of the Advanced Diploma in Patisserie & Gastronomic Cuisine or Year 2 of the Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management (Hons). Alternatively students can pursue their studies at our partner universities and colleges in Australia, U.K. and the USA.
