Academic Support Programmes
Unique to Taylor's, an array of academic support programmes have been integrated into the IB Diploma Programme to:
•   Ensure consistency of action across the board by different subject teachers
•   Supporting students with extra help or further enrichment
•   Ensure that weak academic performance rate is minimised.

Consultation Hours
All subject teachers are required to stay back after teaching hours several times a week for consultation with their students on the topics taught. This is to ensure that students receive full reinforcement of the lessons while it is still fresh in their minds. The teachers are also expected to keep a log of the students they come in contact with during these consultation hours.

Peer Group Teaching / Coaching
The IBDP can be a challenging programme even for students with strong academic backgrounds. At the end of each semester - after the release of results - the school identifies students with mediocre performance across all subjects and will implement a peer-tutoring system where peers who are more comfortable with the subject providing assistance to others who require help. This coaching is also available at the request of the student should they require more guidance in their studies.

Study Groups
Study Groups will be made available around the third month upon commencement of the programme. This will allow students to get to know one another and by then, there will be sufficient build-up of work and assignments to make the setting of study groups a useful system. These study groups are an important and key element of the Intensive Revision Programme (IRP) which will be implemented in the fourth semester of the programme.

Mentor-mentee System
In order to create a sense of confidence in students and to induct them into the post-high school system, a mentor-mentee system is established. Students (mentees) are assigned a lecturer (mentor) who will be charged to oversee their academic and personal development over the 2 year duration of study.
