    The Thinking Skills subject is offered at the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level, aimed at developing critical thinking and reasoning and improving the ability to understand, analyse and resolve problems. Students are given the option whether to take this as a subject at the AS Level. In class, free and open debate, critical and investigative thinking, and informed and disciplined reasoning are encouraged.

    Specialised counsellors at the Taylor's Placement Centre provide assistance to students who require guidance on university placements, accommodation, as well as assisting students with their application to universities in the UK via UCAS (University and Colleges Admission Service), a clearing house for applications to almost all full-time undergraduate degree programmes at British universities and colleges.
