Single Room
The fully furnished, 6-storey hostel has more than 900 beds complete with car parks. There are a total of 132 units of apartments, out of which 663 are single rooms, while 65 are twin-sharing rooms. In addition, there are 100 units of deluxe rooms, out of which 80 are single rooms, while 20 are twin-sharing rooms. All units come complete with beds, mattresses, wardrobes and study tables and chairs. Students also have access to a pantry on every floor with a refrigerator and microwave, and locked storage space.
Other amenities in the residence include:
Located below U Residence, the Boardwalk features 2-storeys of shops selling everything from food and beverages to stationeries and books. In addition, there are outlets providing various services such as banking, entertainment, health & fitness, a Laundromat, money exchange and a post office. The Boardwalk is the main hub of Taylor's Express, the daily shuttle service that transports students to the Subang Jaya campus, Sunway Pyramid and Setiajaya KTM station.
Ruemz Hotel
Next to U Residences and Board Walk is a chic and modern boutique hotel known as the Ruemz Hotel. Available for public bookings, the hotel has a lobby and 7 floors with 80 single and twin-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms, and one connecting room on every floor for families. There is also a restaurant serving meals throughout the day and a 24-hour mini mart. Ruemz Hotel is operated by a group of full-time employees and selected students from the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts.

Do's and Don'ts
It is the responsibility of all students to live in harmony. As such, students shall at all times have good understanding, tolerance and respect for their housemates and neighbours, which is essential for harmonious community living.
Students are to strictly observe the following rules and regulations:

Students are to strictly observe the following rules and regulations:
Do
- Respect each other's customs, race, religion and social obligations.
- Notify the Warden or the Taylor's Residences Office of absences for a night or more.
- Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the unit and proper usage of its furnishings.
- Report to the Warden or the Taylor's Residences Office if students have contracted or are suffering from any contagious diseases such as Typhoid, Hepatitis, Measles, Chicken Pox, etc.
Do Not
- Bring non-Halal food (such as pork, luncheon meat, etc.) or cooking utensils used to cook non-Halal food into the accommodation unit.
- Organise or participate in any form of gambling, or social gatherings or engage in any form of business in the unit.
- Leave the unit after 12 midnight except under exigent circumstances. Students are advised to abide by this ruling for safety and security concerns.
- Allow guests of the opposite sex (except parents or guardians or siblings) into the unit.
- Possess, use or distribute illegal drugs such as ganja, heroin, morphine and any drugs listed in the Dangerous Drugs Act. Students found in violation of this ruling will be reported to the authorities.
- Consume alcohol or any other intoxicating drinks or substances in the unit.
- Possess or bring any Pornographic materials / CDs / Videos / Posters into the unit.
- Smoke in the unit.
Other Services
The welfare of our students is of our greatest concern. Therefore, Taylor's Residences offers the following services:
- Sick bays
- 24-hour security at each of our Taylor's Residences locations
- Hostel wardens
- Weekly housekeeping of the common areas in the accommodation units including the living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
- City tours to places of cultural and technological interest
- Organise social get togethers and games, with active participation from Resident Leaders
The International Offices will provide information and assistance to international students on all immigration matters and airport pick-ups while the Student Services Offices at each of our campuses will provide information on academic courses, counselling and pastoral care.
How to Apply
Students intending to stay in our accommodation must submit the Accommodation Application Form to Taylor's together with a general deposit of RM2,000 or RM1,800 or Reservation Fee of USD700 (applicable for international students only). Payment must be made in favour of Taylor’s University Sdn Bhd.
The rental shall be payable which requires a six (6) months in advance rental payment. The general deposit shall be maintained throughout the tenancy period and shall be refunded upon completion of tenancy.
